FROM THE HIGHLANDS OF SRI LANKA
OUR FARM IN PUNDALOYA, SRILANKA
Mascons Agrotech operates its farm and greenhouses at North Pundaloya Estate, Pundaloya, Sri Lanka, surrounded by the cool, green landscapes of the central highlands.
This is where our flowers begin their journey. From planting and nurturing to cutting and grading, our team carefully manages the growing process to produce fresh flowers for retail customers, florists, hotels, events, wholesalers and other businesses.
Being growers ourselves gives us greater control over the journey of our flowers from the greenhouse to the customer.
INSIDE OUR GREENHOUSE
Our farm includes approximately 25,000 square metres of computer-controlled greenhouse cultivation, situated at an elevation of around 1,400 metres above sea level. Mascons states that the greenhouse technology originated from France and Holland, with plants cultivated using coco-fibre growing media.
Within this protected environment, our team can carefully manage the growing conditions and nurture our flowers throughout their development. Greenhouse production also helps protect the crop while supporting more consistent quality and year-round growing operations.
